Guardians of the Galaxy Review

I went into this movie not really knowing what to expect from the finished product. I had no idea what the director had in mind when he was making this but I had full faith in him.  Needless to say I was blown away by this movie. I happened to go see it in IMAX 3D and it was very well worth it and I’m normally heavily against 3D movies.

The movie was great from start to finish. I never found myself bored with the story and wanted to know what would happen next. Being that the Guardians are lesser known than Thor or Iron Man this gave Marvel a chance to really let the lesser known Guardians shine. The action scenes were keeping me on my toes.  This movie only had a few minutes of backstory and then it was straight to the funny and action. Only thing I can really tell you at this point is GO WATCH THIS MOVIE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!

The actors did a fantastic job keeping me entertained. Bradley Cooper did a superb job bringing Rocket to life with his voice acting. I could really feel the emotion when Rocket caught feelings and when he was clowning on someone.  Chris Pratt as Peter Quill really brought the the whole movie together with his mix of comedy and seriousness. He kept you guessing on how he was going to handle the situation at hand. Gamora was a straight badass. She was kicking ass and chewing gum and she was out of gum (therefore just ass kickery). Zoe Salanda was simply sexy and powerful at the same time. Then there was Drax the Destroyer played by Dave Bautista his acting always surprises me because I have a hard time seeing him act in movies but he always gets into character. Last but I think the best character of the movie was Groot. I fully understood everything he was going through. He always said something philosophical, deep and even added some laughs in . Vin Desiel was by far the best actor you could get.

Everybody that hasn’t seen this movie needs to see it now, if you can see it in IMAX 3D. I can’t stress enough how good this movie is. It was a great movie to start off the month of August. As a gift for all you readers I have a special guest giving his review of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Groot from Planet X. So Groot what did you think of the movie?
